The SAT I: Reasoning Test costs $45.00 for the regular registration deadline. Late registration deadlines cost an additional $23.00. Other “SAT Fee” information (i.e. SAT Subject Tests, scores by phone, extra score reports to a college, test center and date changes…etc.) is available at http://collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/calenfees/fees.html.

It is recommended that students register via the internet (get results back several weeks earlier) at the following website: www.collegeboard.com. It is very important that when a student applies for the SAT's online that they write down all their passwords, and print a copy of the confirmation page (last page); this is the admission ticket for the day of the test. The “Test Center Locations” listed above do not offer the SAT’s for every test date, you must access the website (or use the registration bulletins) to locate this information. If a student has test modifications please see Mr. LaBrake before applying for the SAT’s.

Any seniors interested in attending a college (fall of 2010) that requires the SAT’s who have not tested, or wish to test again, should take either the October 10^th SAT exam, or the November 7^th SAT exam.

Registration Bulletins and Sample Tests and Tips are still available in the Guidance Office. Please see Mr. LaBrake for assistance with completing registration materials for the SATs (on-line or hard copy).

NOTE: All applications must be postmarked and mailed by the deadline date. However, a late fee of $21.00 is charged, in addition to the regular registration fee of $47.00 for New York State students taking the ACT Plus Writing (students must check with individual colleges to see if they will accept the ACT “No Writing” exam for $32.00). Other “ACT Fee” information (i.e. refunds, test center and date changes…etc.) is available at www.actstudent.org/regist/actfees.html. To register online for the ACT, go to www.actstudent.org. You will need MasterCard or Visa to register online. The “Test Center Locations” listed above do not offer the ACTs for every test date, you must access the website (or use the registration packets) to locate this information.

With online registration you:

· Know immediately whether your preferred test center has space for you to test

· View your scores at no charge

· Print your admission ticket
